Following his formal apprenticeship under family and Masters in Barre, Vermont, Button established Carolina Sculpture Studio in 2003.  In early 2023, Button created the Virtual Stone Carving Apprenticeship video series with the goal of archiving and perpetuating the uniquely American art and methodology of professional granite sculpture.  Below is link to the VSCA playlist on YouTube:
