About Nancy Keim
Nancy O’Dell-Keim is a celebrated artist with over 30 years of experience. Nancy’s journey began with earning degrees at Converse College and Clemson University (MFA), and she has since dedicated herself to both her art and her community. As an Adjunct Art Professor and Visiting Artist, Nancy has shared her passion at institutions including Converse College, Wofford College, USC Upstate, and the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts. She is also a founding member of the Artist’s Collective, contributing to the thriving arts scene in Spartanburg. Nancy is the founder of Blue Spirit Art Studio and Gallery, located at 104 Fretwell Street, Spartanburg, SC. This welcoming creative space serves as both a working studio and fine arts gallery for resident artists. Blue Spirit’s mission is to bridge the community and the arts, offering curated and invitational exhibitions in addition to its open studio environment, where the public can walk through and see artists at work.
About Scott Neely
Scott Neely serves as minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Spartanburg, SC. He also directs the Faith Initiative To End Child Poverty, a coalition of congregations working to end child poverty in Spartanburg County. A practicing artist, he works in a range of media including painting, drawing, and digital. His method balances expression and simplicity. He makes visual poems: succinct, present, for the heart. My Studio
Blue Spirit Art Studio and Gallery is a working studio space and fine art gallery housing rotating exhibitions by resident artists along with curated exhibits.
Blue Spirit, located across from Little River Roasting at Fretwell, is an inviting creative space where visitors can see and meet artists at work while touring current works and exhibits. Currently exhibiting the works of Nancy O’Dell-Keim and Scott Neely.
