About Scott Neely
Scott Neely serves as minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Spartanburg, SC. He also directs the Faith Initiative To End Child Poverty, a coalition of congregations working to end child poverty in Spartanburg County. A practicing artist, he works in a range of media including painting, drawing, and digital. His method balances expression and simplicity. He makes visual poems: succinct, present, for the heart. Blue Spirit Art Studio and Gallery is a working studio space and fine art gallery housing rotating exhibitions by resident artists along with curated exhibits.
Blue Spirit, located across from Little River Roasting at Fretwell, is an inviting creative space where visitors can see and meet artists at work while touring current works and exhibits. Currently exhibiting the works of Nancy O’Dell-Keim and Scott Neely.
