Joy/Sorrow
By Andrea Harper
Just as light shines brightest coming out of darkness, so you must have sorrow for the brightest of joy. Initially designed as a painting interpretation of a traditional log cabin quilt; work on this painting became an expression of the happiest of joys, followed by a tragic sorrow in my life.
Acrylic paint and texture paste on stretched canvas.
Measures 48″ x 60″ (4’x6′) and can be hung either vertically or horizontally.
