Layers of Growth

“Layers Of Growth” attempts to relate personal growth and reflection to that of a flower, blooming one vulnerable petal at a time.  In an attempt to discreetly highlight a broader and more wide-ranging issue, the flower vase is formed by a gun barrel, which is my artistic response to gun violence. I see it as a call to my country to reflect and grow on the issue.
