Election Quilt

This quilt is my statement about the dirty politics that the past elections have demonstrated. Instead of providing a platform, candidates find it necessary to run down their opponents. The dark surface shows the mud-slinging that is now normal for elections. As a former elected official, I ran on my own integrity and platform without criticizing my fellow candidates for over twenty years. Can we return to a more common sense type of politics?
