Pin the Tail on the Donkey

Pin the Tail on the Donkey was created this past summer in a workshop with Kourtney Stone. It is still unaired and therefore unfinished. Many figurative works of mine reflect on ventriloquism dummies. My default figure and favorite childhood toy. Plus it creeped my sisters out so they would leave me alone. This piece has some creepy features – the blindfold, the whip, the donkey tails, and the angry countenance of the girl. Also not pictured is a Pin the Tail on the Donkey poster and has donkey tails scattered all over the piece and on the ground. I plan to collage metal, glass, found objects and look forward to creating her hand to hold a scale representing justice.
